We pay claims quickly
Health Shield has a key performance indicator to process 85% of all claims within a 48 hour period. Claims are normally processed on the day Health Shield receives the claim form and the refund can be direct credited back to members' bank accounts to ensure a fast and convenient payment. The member can provide their email address in order to receive notification of payment. This helps speed up communication and helps towards environmental considerations by saving on print and paper costs.
