Essential cover from Health Shield
The new Health Shield Essentials schemes have become the number one bestsellers with customers in the first year of its launch.
A large number of organisations have snapped up the schemes, taking advantage of the diverse range of benefits that are available from 75 pence per week.
Essentials Plus, which also includes a full Employee Assistance Programme, starts from just one pound per week. Members can claim 100% of their chosen maximum on a wide selection of health care costs. These include: dental, optical, health & wellbeing, physiotherapy, specialist consultation, chiropody and health screenings. This is subject to annual review.
Peter McAndrew, sales director at Health Shield, commented: “The Essentials schemes are extremely flexible. Pre-existing conditions will be waivered with no health declaration required and members who increase their level of cover will become eligible to make claims for treatment after the first contribution is received.
“It’s no surprise that within 12 months, they’ve become a firm favourite especially in the intermediary market.”
