We will pay benefit, at the appropriate rate, for dental treatment up to the appropriate maximum in any one calendar year

You must send us an original, fully-itemised receipt, showing separate dates of treatment, with the claim form.

What is covered:

• Anaesthetic fees, including intravenous sedation
• Check-up charges
• Dental brace or gum shield provided by the dentist
• Dental practice plan premiums and joining fees e.g. Denplan
• Dental crowns, bridges and white fillings
• Dental veneers
• Dentures or their repair at dental laboratories
• Hygienist fees
• Orthodontic and periodontic treatment
• Tooth whitening treatment provided by the dentist
• X-rays

What is not covered:

• Cancellation charges made by dentist e.g. missed appointments
• Dental consumables, e.g. toothbrushes, mouthwash, floss
• Dental prescription charges. We cover these charges under the Prescriptions benefit.
