Hearing aids and surgical appliances
Please check your specific membership plan to make sure that this benefit is included in your level of cover. These terms are not specific to Essentials and Tailored membership plans.
We will pay benefit, at the appropriate rate, for hearing aids and surgical appliances up to the appropriate maximum in any one calendar year.
When you send us the claim form, you must also send us an original receipt showing your name, separate dates and type of treatment and official stamp of the practitioner.
What is covered
- Hearing aids and audiology tests provided by a registered hearing-aid supplier
- Repairs to hearing aids
- Surgical appliances which are prescribed or supplied by your GP or healthcare practitioner
