Home help and home nursing
Please check your specific membership plan to make sure that this benefit is included in your level of cover. These terms are not specific to Essentials and Tailored membership plans.
We will pay benefit, at the appropriate rate, for home-help and home nursing services, up to the appropriate maximum in any one calendar year.
When you send us the claim form, you must also send us an original receipt showing your name, separate dates and type of treatment and official stamp of the home-help or home nursing service.
What is covered
- Home-help services provided by a local authority
- Home-help services provided by an agency contracted directly by a local authority
- Home nursing provided by a state registered nurse arranged with an agency, on the recommendation of your GP
What is not covered
- Home-help services provided for maternity cases
- Worldwide cover during business visits and holidays abroad
