1.1 We at Health Shield take the privacy of our Members seriously. Our privacy policy governs the way in which we process all personal information provided by our members. If we change our privacy policy in the future, the changes will be posted here.
1.2 Members can access the Health Shield website without disclosing any personal data. Personal data will only be requested to complete an online application form.
1.3 Other than the application form mentioned in 1.2, we do not conduct any business transactions via our website.

2.2 The Member's personal data (which includes name, address, National Insurance number and any other details provided by the Member to Health Shield which identify the Member as an individual) may be processed by us in the reasonable execution of the membership.

2.4 Health Shield will not disclose personal data to any third parties without the member’s explicit consent (except where required to do so by law).

4. Purpose of processing
We will only use the data supplied by Members to administer their membership, verify their identity, authorise payments, and process any other transactions authorised by the Member.

Cookies are small files that are copied to your computer from the Health Shield website. The Health Shield website only uses cookies to assist Members in the completion of the online claim form. No information is sent to us or any other person or organisation. Members can set their computer browser to reject cookies but this will prevent the assisted completion of the claim form.

No personal or sensitive data is stored on our website.
7. Access to members' personal information
Members have the right to request copies of all of the personal and sensitive information we hold about them (a small fee may apply) and to have any inaccuracies corrected.
