Improvements in customer service - claims online
Members can check their membership details and benefit allowances online. Many of our members already use the direct credit facility that enables Health Shield to refund claims directly to their chosen bank account. We also offer direct credit notification by e-mail, to replace the need for a separate letter. This helps to speed up and improve communications with members and help towards environmental considerations by saving on print and paper costs.

New Membership Plans for 2009
New Corporate, Direct and Direct Plus Scheme Membership Plans have been sent to all Health Shield members. All the new Membership Plans, including revised contributions and benefits and updated terms and conditions are effective from 1st January 2009.

Company sponsored tailored scheme members and flexible benefits scheme members have their own unique Membership Plans and terms and conditions which should be read before making a claim.
