Sales Support Officer

In this role you will support Business Relationship Managers, Head of Business Relationships, Head of Employee Wellbeing Consultants, Employee Wellbeing Consultants, Head of Account Management, Head of Direct Business. This role also includes providing clerical and administrative support for the Sales Team and assisting with the administration of Corporate Entertainment.

Principle Accountabilities

  • Adherence to Balanced Scorecard and support attainment of team/department/company KPI’s
  • Admin support to the Sales Team and management including:
    • Contact with intermediaries/brokers/Letters of Appointment/Letters of Authority
    • Preparation of quotes for the Sales Team
    • Preparation of claims reports for brokers and companies
    • Preparation of promotional posters and e-flyers for the Sales Team
    • Arrange hotel reservations and travel for allocated sales staff
    • Arrange bookings for Corporate entertainment
    • Assistance with enquiries/literature requests; liaising with the Sales Team as required
    • Monthly Data Validation checks
    • Responsible for diary and appointment arrangements in liaison with Employee Wellbeing Consultants Set up on all new business and renewal business including proof reading membership plans
  • Provide cover for other Support Officers during sickness and holiday leave
  • To consistently role model the company values and behaviours and encourage others to do the same
  • Perform other duties as specified from time to time by the Sales management team

Education, Skill and Knowledge Required

  • Excellent communication (both verbal and written)
  • Interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Able to follow multiple instructions and understand priorities to meet deadlines
  • Pays meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to work with others and own initiative
  • Previous experience in a busy office environment
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office particularly Excel and Word
  • English and Maths GCSE grade C or above (or equivalent)

Work arrangements:

We currently have two Sales Support Officer roles available. The work arrangements for these are as follows:

  • Permanent, full time (Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours per week)
  • Temporary (7 months), full time (Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours per week)
