Health Shield Kicks off 2015 with yet more award success
Health Shield – one of the UK’s leading health cash plan providers – has clinched a coveted prize at the 2015 Corporate Adviser Awards which took place in London this week.
The non-profit making Friendly Society was named as ‘Best Cash Plan Provider’. Health Shield fought off competition from six other successful providers and the winner was decided by a panel of experts from twenty of the UK’s biggest financial service intermediaries.
This award follows the recent news that Health Shield has been named in the Sunday Times’ prestigious ‘100 Best Not-For-Profit Organisations to work for’ for the third year running as well as confirmation that the firm has been successful in achieving re-accreditation for Investors in People. It also completes a hat-trick of industry awards in the last six months having scooped awards at the Health Insurance awards and Cover awards at the tail end of 2014.
Jonathan Burton, Chief Executive at Health Shield commented “We are delighted to have won the ‘Corporate Adviser’ award. As an organisation we are committed to achieving our ambitious aim of improving the health and wellbeing of as many people as possible.”
“We’ve recently launched an improved product portfolio for 2015 and continue to deliver outstanding levels of service to our members, intermediaries and their clients. Winning this award, along with our other successes, is a fantastic start to 2015 and is recognition of all the hard work and commitment of our employees at Health Shield.”
