Health Shield – the leading corporate health cash plan provider – has been nominated at the top industry inaugural Workplace Savings and Benefits Awards 2013.
The non-profit making Friendly Society, which aims to provide affordable healthcare support to the widest possible community, has been shortlisted for ‘Healthcare and Wellbeing Provider of the Year’. It will go head-to-head with other industry players at an awards ceremony in October.
Jonathan Burton, Chief Executive at Health Shield, commented: “We are really pleased to be in the running for another top award. This nomination recognises our commitment to improving the health and wellbeing of as many people as by possible – something that is an integral part of our offering.”
Health Shield, which has continued to go from strength-to-strength in the corporate health cash plan market, has implemented a five year mission and vision, as part of an ambitious growth strategy. It aims to: increase its turnover, while improving net return; explore and consider acquisitions; develop new partnerships and products; as well as enhancing service levels throughout the business.
The Workplace Savings and Benefits Awards recognise both employer and provider excellence. The awards look to reward the best providers – recognising those that have offered the highest level of innovation performance and service to employers and their staff over the past year.
