Staff from Crewe-based employee wellbeing provider Health Shield this week hand delivered an early Christmas treat to the Children’s Ward at Leighton Hospital. A huge sack-full of new toys was delivered to hospital staff for the children: everything donated by the staff team at Health Shield.
Courtney Marsh, Chief Executive of Health Shield commented: “The idea to do this came from staff on our company social committee. Everyone was really responsive and generous in their donations. It’s wonderful to do something to support our local hospital, whilst also helping to brighten the day for those children stuck in hospital at this time of the year.
“A key area of our business plan is to support the local area we work within and throughout 2019 we will be supporting a number of local causes to improve the health and wellbeing of our local community.”
